WLA Elections 2023

The WLA Elections will be held in September.  Are you Interested in taking on a leadership role in 2024?  Don't wait to be asked to run - nominate yourself!  If you are interested in a leadership position in 2024, please reach out to Rachel Arndt, Chair of the Nominating Committee.   

Becoming a leader in WLA allows library professionals to develop leadership skills, create professional development opportunities, expand career networks, and learn more about the Association. It also plays an important role in advancing the mission of the Association and benefiting libraries throughout the state. 

While information is still coming in, we are aware the following positions representing the various divisions, sections, and roundtables of WLA will be on the ballot. Many thanks to those members who have already agreed to run for these positions; we welcome additional nominations!

• All WLA members will have the opportunity to vote for the candidates for positions on the Wisconsin Library Association Board of Directors and the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation Board of Directors.
  
  
• In addition, you will have the opportunity to vote for candidates that correspond with the units of which you are a member. For example, if you are a member of AWSL and OSRT, you will see the candidates running for leadership positions in those two units. You will not see the candidates running for leadership positions in any other units. Please review your Member Profile to make sure you the WLA units you wish to belong to are listed.
