Join an experienced team of library assistants in a busy suburban library that circulates 50,000+ items every month. Under the direction of the Head of Access and Circulation Services, performs a variety of library circulation functions at a public service desk as well as in an office environment. Includes checking materials in and out, creating and updating patron accounts, processing incoming and outgoing delivery, and assisting patrons at a point-of-entrance service desk. Requires strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
$13.95/Hour + pro-rated benefits
24 hours per week average:
M - Th 4:15pm - 9:15pm
Sundays 12:45pm - 5:15pm (Currently the library is closed Sundays in the summer)
