The Lakes Country Public Library is seeking a motivated Library Director with strong leadership and communication skills to oversee all aspects of library operations. This full-time position includes hiring and supervising staff, budgeting, programming, community engagement, and technology management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading day-to-day library operations
- Hiring, scheduling and supervising staff
- Developing and maintaining the library collection
- Managing the library budget and facility
- Supporting community outreach and partnerships
- Coordinating with the Lakes Country Public Library Board and Townships
- Promoting the library within Northern Oconto County
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Eligibility for Grade II WI Library Certification
- Preferred 3+ years of library or public service experience
- Proven success in community engagement
- Strong communication and technology skills
- Valid WI driver’s license
