The Appleton Public Library is seeking a full-time Librarian in the Community Partnerships section of the Appleton Public Library. Work involves community engagement; facilitating programming for adults and diverse populations; providing reference and readers’ advisory services to patrons; leading media collection development and maintenance; participating in general collection development; and working as a member of the Community Partnerships team. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Community Partnerships Supervisor. Some evenings and weekends are required. This position requires some experience in public library reference service, knowledge of community engagement tools, program development, and current technologies, as well as a Master’s Degree in Library Science, or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Ability to speak Spanish or Hmong a plus. Regular attendance required. The salary range is $47,486-$57,574, plus an excellent fringe benefit package.
