The Slinger Community Library is seeking a qualified individual who is passionate about providing and managing library services in a small but growing community. Slinger, Wisconsin is located in Washington County surrounded by the Kettle Moraine. It is a vibrant community with many amenities including excellent schools, parks, entertainment and a family-friendly atmosphere. The community has a population of 5,559 with a service population of 12,924.
Applicants must have a Grade 2 certification or be eligible for such certification. The requirements are defined in the Certification Manual for Wisconsin Public Library Directors: www.dpi.wi.gov/pld/certification

The starting salary range for this full-time, 40/hour/week position is $43,000-$54,000, commensurate with experience. The position may require some nights and weekends. A generous benefit package includes: health and dental insurance; sick leave; paid vacation; 10 paid holidays and one personal day annually; plus enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
