The Albertson Memorial Library located in Albany, WI, seeks a dynamic, community-minded director with vision for the future. The successful candidate must be able to enhance the library and its role as an integral component of the community. The position requires 20-25 hours weekly.
Minimum qualifications: Grade III public librarian certification from ALA-accredited institution; 1 or more years library experience preferred; personnel and supervisory experience. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of current library technology; fiscal management knowledge; the ability to work effectively with library board, library employees, Village and Town of Albany, and Albany School district officials and the community.
Salary: commensurate with education and experience.
