The Barneveld Public Library Board of Trustees is accepting applications for a creative, energetic, outgoing, self-motivated, and organized individual to provide leadership, maintain, and enhance library services.
The newly renovated library re-opened in late 2015 and is located one block from the public school. The busy facility is open 46 hours per week, maintains a collection of just over 12,000 items, and has circulation of 20,000 items a year. The library is also fortunate to have an active Friends group and widespread community support. The library serves approximately 4,484 people living both in the growing Village of Barneveld and the surrounding area.
The Library Director position is currently 32 hours a week. The wage range is $16 to $18 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. Benefits include: accruing sick leave, paid holidays, personal time, paid vacation, deferred compensation, life and disability insurance. The Board will begin the candidate review on March 19, 2019.
