Subject :Board of Trustees of the Caestecker Public Library Seeks Library Director
The Board of Trustees of the Caestecker Public Library in Green Lake is seeking a highly motivated, public oriented individual to direct the library into the future. Green Lake is a small, vibrant town with a mix of year-round, seasonal, and retired residents. The area offers an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities and lies within easy driving distance of metropolitan areas. We are a joint library serving the City of Green Lake and the Town of Brooklyn.
Our new director will be someone skilled in all aspects of library operations including fiscal management and budgeting, community involvement, customer service, technology, children’s and adult programming and services, staff supervision, and collection development and management.
A bachelor’s degree and the ability to attain Grade 3 library certification is required, experience in library management is preferred. Salary will be a minimum of $40K commensurate with education and experience. Benefit package to include health insurance, Wisconsin Retirement System, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and support for educational and professional activities. This is a full-time position.
