Subject :Outreach and Acquisitions Librarian at Viterbo University, La Crosse WI
The Todd Wehr Memorial Library at Viterbo University is seeking a dedicated librarian to coordinate outreach efforts for the library, including programming and promotions, as well as to lead the library's partnership program, working with partner librarians on selection and maintenance of print, ebook, and AV collections. The successful candidate will also be in charge of acquisitions and must have a strong background with budgeting. This full-time, 12-month administrative position is also active with a team of librarians who offer reference and instruction services to our Viterbo community. Qualifications: ALA-accredited master's degree in library science with a minimum of three years of library experience. Experience with acquisitions, budgeting, and financial management is required. A knowledge of WorldShare Management Services (WMS) is strongly preferred. Outreach, programming, design, and promotions experience is strongly preferred. This candidate will have excellent organizational, interpersonal, technological, and communication skills as well as the ability to work both independently and collegially in a rapidly changing environment. Willingness to travel in the state.
