Director, Defiance Public Library System (Ohio)
The Defiance Public Library System seeks an innovative and dedicated leader to serve as Library Director.
Defiance is located in northwest Ohio, within an easy drive of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Toledo, Ohio. The community was settled at the confluence of two major rivers, making it home to both beautiful scenery and great recreational opportunities. This, along with its unique history, cultural events and small-town charm makes Defiance a wonderful place to live, work and play.
The library serves the 39,000 residents of Defiance County through four library locations. It enjoys the support of an engaged board and friendly staff, as well as a community that appreciates excellent library service.
Salary $75,000/year or higher, negotiable based on experience.
