Currently there is an opening for a Librarian at the Marathon County Public Library - Wausau location. This is a full-time position which can include days, evenings and weekends. Additional hours to attend meetings, workshops or to fill in for other staff may be required. This position demands a dynamic, energetic and creative individual to provide extraordinary service to our customers and fellow library staff. The chosen candidate will excel while working at any service desk in handling materials behind the scenes.
This position is responsible for all of the youth library materials in all formats, and oversees collection maintenance in collaboration with library staff. A passion for using and understanding all forms of personal technology is required. The work is performed under the direction of the Library Services Manager.
