Subject :Patron Services Librarian - Frank L. Weyenberg Library of Mequon-Thiensville
Are you passionate about library services for children and families? Do you like variety in your work? Do you enjoy performing songs or reading stories to a large group of children and their caregivers?
The Frank L. Weyenberg Library of Mequon-Thiensville, Wisconsin is seeking an innovative, self-motivated, and enthusiastic masters-degreed librarian to join our Patron Services team. Responsibilities include reference and reader’s advisory for patrons of all ages, collection development, and programming. A concentration in children’s services is preferred.
The successful applicant will have strong customer service skills, a progressive attitude, love the challenge of fostering relationships with schools and organizations, exhibit creativity in programming, and possess the skills necessary to build a strong children’s collection for our community.
This position is for forty hours per week. Salary range is $19.00 - 25.00 based on qualifications and includes benefits. Evening and weekend work required. Preference will be given to someone with an ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS but will consider a May 2021 graduate.
