Carroll University Library in Waukesha, WI is hiring a part-time Evening/Weekend Supervisor. Current shifts needing filled for the regular academic year are Tuesdays 4pm-12am, Saturdays 10am-3pm, and Sundays 5pm-12am. Limited shifts available in the summer.

Responsibilities:
- Assist library users in finding information and materials using the library catalog, databases, and other online resources via in-person, online chat, email, and phone.
- Supervise student workers at the Circulation Desk, Information Commons Desk, and Library Classroom during assigned shift.
- Close or open the library, depending on shift.
- Assist library users with computers and software.
- Enforce the library’s policies.
- Other clerical and library duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two to four years in customer service and/or library experience.

Technology Skills:
- Competent and comfortable in use of computers and software such as Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive.
- Experience with research assistance preferred.

Human Relations Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Other Requirements:
- Shift changes and/or weekend work may be required by your supervisor based on departmental and University needs.
- Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
