The Edgerton Public Library is currently accepting applications for a dynamic and community minded individual to join our friendly staff as a Library Assistant! The emphasis of this position will be on coordinating services and programming for teens and assisting patrons with technology concerns, however this position involves work in all of our library departments.
Qualified candidates will have excellent customer service skills, enjoy being around teens, have experience developing teen programs, be comfortable using and teaching others how to use a wide variety of technology tools including smartphones, eReaders, desktop computers and tablets, and understand the dynamics of library service. - Salary range: $12.75-$15.00/hour + comprehensive benefit package
- Position averages 30 hours/week
- Schedule allows for flexibility but includes daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; MLS preferred.
