The Verona Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, organized, and tech-savvy professional librarian to provide reference and adult services to our community.
Job responsibilities include:
• Supervising the reference department staff (2.9 FTE)
• Managing the adult materials collections, including purchasing, budgeting, and collection maintenance
• Overseeing reference services such as interlibrary loan, exam proctoring, and computer and technology instruction
• Staffing a busy public service desk
• Contributing to the organization as a member of the library management team
The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to teach computer skills and troubleshoot technology problems in a public computer lab. Direct patron service is a component of this position. Previous supervisory experience and Spanish language skills are preferred.
This is a full-time position and the salary range is $55,447-$68,886 annually.
