Library Assistant/Outreach Assistant
The Verona Public Library seeks a dynamic, flexible, and energetic person with a strong dedication to patron services to become part of our team. This is a part-time (50%) position averaging 20 hours/week. Work involves representing the library at community events and locations, including library book bike outreach; providing reference and reader’s advisory service to children, teens, and adults at a public service desk; and assisting with equitable programming for children birth to 18 and their families. Some weekends and evenings are required.
The pay range for this position is $17.72 to $22.02 per hour. Depending on employment history, prorated benefits may include accruing sick leave, paid holidays, personal time, paid vacation, comp time, flexible spending and deferred compensation options, health and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, and Wisconsin Retirement System participation.
