The Suring Area Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and technology savvy Youth Services Librarian. This candidate would be working with children ages birth on up. This candidate must also enjoy working with children, adapts to change and is willing to learn on a daily basis.

The Suring Area Public Library is a member of the Nicolet Federated Library System and OWLSnet consortium and is located on Highway 32, 50 miles north of Green Bay. Suring has a population of 500 and the library serves the village as well as surrounding communities.

The Youth Services Librarian is under direct supervision of the Director and is responsible for planning and implementing programming for kids. There is 1 Story Time, programming throughout the year as well as the annual Summer Library Program.

1. Candidates must have graduated High School
2. Strong communication skills and work ethic
3. Comfortable using technology
4. Excellent Customer Service
5. Some youth services experience or similar is a plus

The job also includes working the circulation desk, shelving, displays, processing of new materials, and more.

This position is 20 hours a week.
