The Marathon County Public Library is hiring a Library Services Manager.
The purpose of this position is to ensure that employees, volunteers, work routines and programs meet the organization’s goals and objectives for the Marathon County Public Library. This position manages the work of persons in the organization who provide services to other library staff and patrons. They are also expected to be a dynamic leader within the management team. This position supervises staff in the following areas: Support Services, Pages, Circulation, and IT. Work is performed under the Library Director.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in library science, with prior management experience preferred, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. We are seeking an individual who is not only academically qualified but also has IT knowledge, is a collaborative problem solver, innovative, adept at building relationships, customer-service-focused, and results-oriented.
Starting Salary: $73,923 + Marathon County benefits:
