Virtual Performers Showcase - Performers Needed!

The 2026 Performers Showcase, presented by the Youth Services Section of the Wisconsin Library Association, will connect performers with members of the Wisconsin library community through live virtual demonstrations and marketing materials.
You Are Invited to Participate!
Your act has been recommended to us through a variety of channels and we would like to provide you with the opportunity to give a brief demonstration to librarians to see the best of what you have to offer, virtually! We are looking for performers interested in sharing quality programming for children, teens, and/or families at a reasonable cost for Wisconsin libraries.
The December 8 showcase will give you the opportunity to deliver an abbreviated live virtual demonstration of your educational and/or entertainment act (10 minutes), followed by a 5-minute Q & A session with librarians from around the state via Zoom. All registered attendees and performers will receive a digital directory containing information about your show and contact information for booking - a great resource for libraries as they look ahead to the 2027 summer reading program! A recording of the showcase will be made available to registered attendees 60 days after the event.

Performer Registration
Join us online via Zoom on Tuesday, December 8! We are planning for a 9 a.m. start time, however, the final schedule may be adjusted once all performers have been scheduled.
Cost:

Live 10-minute virtual demonstration, plus 5 minutes of Q & A with librarians, a full-page listing in digital directory, and option to share handouts and video links via email - $50.00.

Full-page listing in digital directory only (no virtual performance)- $25.00.
To make sure your presentation goes smoothly, all performers will be required to sign up for a brief (10 - 15 minute) pre-event Zoom meeting with WLA staff to review the event logistics, test your location, microphone, etc., and answer any questions you may have. More details and a sign-up link will be provided once your registration is complete.
