OUTREACH SERVICES ROUNDTABLE | OSRT

PURPOSE

The Outreach Services Roundtable of the WLA promotes the exchange of ideas connected with providing library service beyond the library building, defined as outreach service, and is dedicated to ensuring universal access within libraries.

GOALS

  • Share information about traditional outreach programs such as bookmobiles, books-by-mail, and home delivery
  • Exchange ideas about library promotion including special events, marketing, social media, and advocacy.

BENEFITS

  • Network with peers and exchange information about outreach programs and projects.
  • Relevant programs at WLA conferences.
