Due to an upcoming retirement, the Carter Memorial Library of Omro, WI, part of the Winnefox Library System, is accepting applications for a director. This individual will be a well-organized, dedicated, and energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to direct the daily operations of our thriving library and take it into the future. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for: services, staff, collection development, budgeting, and other administrative duties. The new director will develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Friends of the Omro Library, library board, and local community partners. In excellent partnership with the city of Omro municipality and the library board, the new director will assist in the planning and facilitating of the upcoming library building expansion.

Omro, Wisconsin, a town of 3,500, is located on the beautiful Fox River, approximately 10 miles west of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is a quaint community-orientated city with excellent parks, schools, and amenities.

This is a salaried position that requires possession of a bachelor's degree and willingness to work towards a Grade 2 Wisconsin Public Library Certification. Relevant education and/or experience in supervising, budgeting, working with children, and community relations preferred. Salary range commensurate with education and experience starting at $45,000 and includes an excellent benefits package. This is a full-time position; some weekend and evening hours may be required.
