Join us at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, Wisconsin as we continue to implement the library’s forward-thinking strategic plan. This is a unique opportunity to serve as project manager for the facility improvement projects identified in the newly adopted space needs analysis, pave the way for positive change to improve the customer experience, develop and maintain community partnerships, and so much more.
Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program and professional library experience that will enable the candidate to perform effectively the work required. Essential skills include:
Demonstrated ability to project a positive public service perspective, facilitate change, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment with all levels of personnel.
Understanding of common personnel management methods to lead an engaged, professional-level staff.
Planning, project development and budget management skills.
The starting salary range is $35.94 - $38.79 per hour, with excellent benefits, including health insurance, and support for professional activities. As determined by a recent classification and compensation study, wages are scheduled to increase January 1, 2018.
