Employment Opportunity: Reference Assistant (part-time)
The Verona Public Library is looking for someone with great customer service and organizational skills to join our Reference Department as a Reference Assistant. This position is responsible for providing reference assistance to patrons and other duties such as technology education, collection maintenance, and book display curation.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of study at an accredited college, university, or technical school or related experience, in addition to customer service experience. Public library experience is preferred.
This is a part-time position scheduled for 832 hours/year (average 16 hours per week) with day, evening and approximately one weekend per month required. The starting pay rate is $19.54 per hour.
