Open at Jefferson Public Library: Long term substitute: Library assistant position (19 hrs. per week), includes circulation services and patron services, in the adult department. Duties include using circulation software (Leap), assisting patrons with information needs, finding and locating materials for patrons, using and troubleshooting machines (copier, PCs) and projects as needed (RFID tagging).
Includes day, evening and Saturday hours, $12-15.60 per hour DOQ. Some library experience helpful; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Please send resume and letter of interest along with three references via email or postal mail.
