The West Bend Community Memorial Library is recruiting for Library Associates who are prepared to work in a highly interactive and fast-paced customer service environment. Library Associates have the responsibility for implementing programs in the areas of youth, adult, literacy, volunteer, and/or technology. Library Associates will also provide reference services and circulation services, backroom operations, delivering materials and programs through outreach and essential library duties include shelving library materials and keeping materials in order, checking books in/out, issuing/renewing library cards, and collecting fines/fees on a computerized circulation system.
Positions are part-time and average 41 hours per two-week pay period; weekend and evening work is required. Rotating weekends are also required.
Starting wage is $15.00/hour, Part Time, with approximately 20 hours/week.
The schedule will include some Saturdays.
