This position is primarily responsible for supervising the circulation desk and hiring, training, and evaluating student employees. The position oversees local hold requests, Resource Sharing (processing and troubleshooting) and circulation; troubleshoots problems in various public service areas; and helps library users. This position requires expertise in explaining and interpreting library policies, practices, and procedures to faculty, staff, students, and community users. Normal schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday during the academic year. Hours may vary during break periods. The position reports to the Head of Circulation.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Library customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Experience working in an academic library
• Experience with Alma (ExLibris) Library Management System
• Experience working with Microsoft Office programs
