Job Summary
This position supports the University goal to graduate highly educated individuals at all degree levels. Working under the leadership of the Teaching & Learning Lead, position responsibilities include providing effective delivery of instruction to students and implementing and assessing instruction in the First-Year Composition curriculum. This curriculum assists first- and second-year undergraduate students with learning the tools of scholarship while adjusting to college life. Further, this position develops and supports high-impact practices in coordination with other student success programs at UWM to graduate students who are highly engaged members of the UWM community.

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s of Library Science/Master’s of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience teaching with the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy
• Bachelors, Masters or other course work in writing, composition or rhetorical studies
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning and Culturally Sustaining Pedagogies
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team in a collaborative environment
• Applied knowledge of curriculum planning and information literacy mapping
