The Ruth Culver Community Library is currently seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to re-envision our youth services. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, team-oriented individual with a strong public service commitment and passion for serving those ages birth through 5th grade and their caregivers. The library seeks an individual who will honor the history of services to youth and the strong partnerships the library has built within our community yet create a strong strategic vision which meets the evolving needs of our community’s youth. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, excellent time-management, and someone who is comfortable being leader. This position includes daytime hours, evenings, and occasional Saturday hours. The starting pay for this position is $20.09/hr and includes excellent benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off.
Located 35 miles northwest of Madison, WI, right off of Highway 12, Prairie du Sac is a vibrant community along the scenic Wisconsin River and is home to a world-class winery, microbrewery, and vibrant arts scene. The library serves roughly 6,500 residents of this community and adjacent neighbors. This thriving community has small town charm with the conveniences of big city life. It is personal enough to know you by name, but big enough to offer you sophisticated dining, summer festivals, and plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities.
