The Slinger Community Library is seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, technology savvy, curious, and creative Youth Services Librarian with a passion for learning and collaboration in an ever-changing environment. This position reports to the Library Director. Main duties include developing, implementing, and advertising a wide variety of children’s, teen, and family programs in-person and virtually, organizing and maintaining children’s, juvenile, and teen collections and providing outreach to the Slinger Community.
This 32-hour position will include daytime, evening, and Saturday rotation hours, plus regular time at our Circulation desk in addition to the core youth services duties. Salary is $17.37/hr with benefits. Must have experience working with children and teens preferably in a library setting. Preferable start date of May 1, 2022.
