NOW HIRING: ADULT SERVICES SPECIALIST
The Germantown Community Library in Germantown, WI is seeking a part-time Adult Services Specialist who is positive, enthusiastic, creative and enjoys working with adults of all ages. The ideal candidate will work well both independently and collaboratively, possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working with the public. The person hired will work in all areas of the Adult Services department including planning and facilitating programs for adults, purchasing adult material and answering questions at the Information Desk. This includes locating material, providing reader’s advisory and assisting patrons with computers and technology.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old or older. A Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or equivalent college and at least 1 year of public library or related experience is preferred, but not required. The starting wage is $12.50 per hour with an increase to $13.00 per hours after completion of a successful 90-day probation period. Village of Germantown benefits include pro-rated vacation, holiday and sick leave as well as enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
