Location
The Business Librarian at UW-Milwaukee supports the university goals to be excellent in inter-disciplinary research and graduate highly educated individuals at all degree levels. Working under the leadership of the Research Services Lead, position responsibilities include providing effective delivery of instruction and consultations to students, staff and faculty; engaging in academic outreach to the Lubar School of Business and assigned departments; and contributing to programming to educate graduate students and faculty on established and emerging practices in scholarly communication. This position is expected to provide excellent customer service in a professional manner and serve as a model representative of UWM and the Libraries.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s of Library Science/Master’s of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with company, industry, and market research databases
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate work among different projects
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Degree, course work, or equivalent experience in business or related discipline
