The Marathon County Public Library (MCPL) is hiring a Library Specialist at its Wausau location.
The purpose of this position is to provide extraordinary service to our customers and fellow library staff. The focus of this position is to support and aid in purchasing and processing of materials selected by our library services team. This position contributes innovative and progressive solutions to provide increasingly better customer service. The work is performed under the direction of the Library Support Services Manager.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, or similar field of study, with two years of experience in a public library or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Starting salary: $17.66 per hour.
