The E.D. Locke Public Library in McFarland, WI has an immediate opening for a full-time Adult Services Librarian. The Adult Services Librarian will be responsible for providing a variety of public and technical services including the development of the adult collections and the planning and implementation of adult and community programming. In addition, the work involves reference and reader's advisory, community outreach, social media marketing and serving as a backup at the Circulation Desk. The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, creative, organized, technology savvy, and enjoy working with people of all ages.
The qualified candidate will possess the following education and experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience; or,
· MLS or MLIS degree from an ALA accredited program.
Applicants will be considered who are in their final semester of the Masters in Library Science program from an accredited institution.
Starting pay range is $51,979 to $65,869 annually (depending on qualifications) with an excellent benefit package, including health insurance, participation in Wisconsin Retirement System, ample paid time off and much more.
