Due to retirement the Menominee County Library Board is looking for a full time Director. Responsibilities for Library Operations include; evaluating and training staff, budget management, collection development, programs and engagement. The successful candidate will have a wide range of library knowledge and strong people skills. Experience with grant writing, public speaking and digital literacy is desired.
The main library, in Stephenson is open 6 days a week. Outreach Services are provided to communities, rural residents, and schools in the service area with a Bookmobile. There is a small part-time branch in Hermansville.
This position requires an MLIS from an ALA accredited institution and the successful candidate shall meet and maintain State of Michigan requirements for a Class IV Library. This is a full time, exempt position with benefits. The salary range is $52,500 to $63,000 based on experience.
