The North Shore Library in Glendale, WI is seeking a creative and enthusiastic part-time Adult Services Librarian with a passion for learning and collaboration to join our team. Could this be you?
Primary Duties:
• Providing reference and reader’s advisory services to patrons of all ages
• Staffing the public service desks
• Maintaining and cataloging of the periodicals collection
• Cataloging other Adult print material as assigned
• Working with a team to create and maintain thematic library wide displays
Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science.
Beginning librarians and applicants nearing completion of their MLIS degree are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience working in an adult reference department is preferred.
Hours:
This part-time position is 20-25 hours per week and includes regular evening and weekend hours.
Wages:
Starting pay is $25.91 per hour.
Timeline:
