Tippecanoe County Public Library seeks skilled managers to join our public library system and our commitment to achieving our vision for over 190,000 area residents! We will hire dedicated, service-oriented managers with a commitment to neighborhood library service. We have two position openings.
Supervise M.L.S. and support staff as you develop programs, services and collections at the Wea Prairie branch library or Klondike branch library.
The successful candidate will have seasoned practical problem-solving skills, the ability to make independent decisions and strong interpersonal, people and communications skills. Expertise in community engagement is highly desirable.
Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience in a public library or any equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred. ALA accredited MLS required. This is a 40-hour position with occasional evenings and weekends required. Starting salary is $53,310.40/year. TCPL has an excellent benefits package.
